Catie St.Germain is a Métis country music singer/songwriter from Niverville, MB. Catie grew up in a very musical family who listened to country music, which turned into a love of hers.
Some of her many musical influences are country classics, The Chicks, Shania Twain, and Alan Jackson.
In 2023, Catie St.Germain was awarded Emerging Artist of the Year at the Manitoba Country Music Awards and performed her first single “The Taxman.”
“The Taxman” is also the first song she wrote and released. The song is a love story for her husband about the reassurance of knowing if everything were to fail, he will always be there for her and her children.
Catie started songwriting in 2022 and has been branching out into more writing and cowriting since.
Catie St.Germain recently released her second single “The Day Gets Too Long” after signing with her label Atomic Ranch/Warner Records. They have the ties to incredible songwriters in Nashville and sent Catie this song and she instantly fell in love with it.
“Even though I didn’t write the song I am so proud that I get to deliver it to the world and to also gain the experience of releasing another song,” she said.
Catie is keeping busy practising her songwriting and is hoping to release her first EP this summer!
Make sure to give “The Taxman” and “The Day Gets Too Long” a listen and stay up to date with Catie St.Germain for upcoming shows and new music!
