Waylon, Willie & Cash: A Tribute to the Highwaymen is an award-winning, high-energy musical tribute to the legendary icons of country music who helped redefine the genre.
The band has grown into a powerhouse ensemble of talented musicians, including Ryan Keown (Lead Vocals/Acoustic), JR Charron (Lead Vocals/Acoustic), Mike Sacharko (Lead Vocals/Electric Guitar), Maximilian Dupas (Lead Guitar/Harmonica), Brennan McNabb (Bass), Chris Nakonechny (Keyboards), and Troy McKenzie (Drums).
Inspired by how deeply relatable and timeless the music of The Highwaymen is, the group set out to create a tribute that honours the originals while bringing their own energy to the stage. Just like Waylon, Willie and Johnny, Keown, Charron and Sacharko share the spotlight—each bringing their own style and voice to the music, celebrating the spirit of camaraderie that defined the original group.
They stay true to the heart and sound of the era while adding a unique touch that keeps the show fresh and engaging. Since forming in 2023, the band has delivered a series of unforgettable performances and continues to captivate audiences wherever they go.
“We’re loving every minute of it—and the future is bright for this show,” says Keown.

The group was honoured to win Tribute Act of the Year at the 2024 MCMA Awards and proudly represent Manitoba at every show. All members are proud Manitobans and past MCMA award winners in their own right—a testament to the talent and dedication behind the tribute.
