Cali Tucker is celebrating a milestone year with great success in 2024. People magazine praised her as a “blend of sweet and sassy…addictive” during the exclusive premiere of her music video for “Country Couture,” which has since surpassed 600,000 streams. Her music has collectively amassed over one million streams on Spotify and more than 250,000 views on YouTube.
Tucker’s hit single “Country Couture” was recently released to radio worldwide, including in Canada, on Friday, January 17th. On Spotify, she has 18,802 monthly Canadian listeners, making Canada her fourth-largest market. She has also toured Canada multiple times with her legendary aunt, Tanya Tucker.
Born into country music royalty, Cali Tucker is the daughter of ‘70s country star LaCosta Tucker and the niece of country legend Tanya Tucker. Immersed in the industry from a young age, she credits her mother and aunt with inspiring her to pursue a career in music.
“Music goes beyond just my purpose in life—it’s the only thing that truly makes me happy. I just love what I do so much,” Tucker shares.
Tucker has graced national television, performed at the Grand Ole Opry, and headlined top Las Vegas venues, including Aria, The Wynn, and MGM Grand. Her latest releases, “Country Couture” and “Urban Cowboy,” were co-written with Grammy-nominated producer G’harah “PK” Degeddingseze and multi-platinum songwriter Tricia Battani.
“Urban Cowboy” is a defining track for Tucker, capturing her artistic identity. The song immediately resonated with her, reflecting the fairytale she wanted to create—only instead of a prince charming, she’s searching for her “Urban Cowboy.” The accompanying music video takes fans on a journey to find him.
Her “Country Couture” music video recently won “Best Music Video” at the Los Angeles Film Awards and ranked in the festival’s top 15 projects across all categories. Additionally, she has been nominated for five Las Vegas Music Video Awards, including Best Female Vocalist, Best Country Video, Best Video Filmed in Las Vegas, Best Song, and People’s Choice.
Looking ahead to 2025, Cali Tucker is re-releasing “Country Couture” to radio and plans to do the same with “Urban Cowboy.” She is also gearing up to drop a brand-new single and video, “Last Name,” which promises a fresh sound.
