Tim & The Glory Boys won Album of the Year at the 2023 CCMA Awards for their self-titled and debut album Tim & The Glory Boys.
The process of putting the album together started back in 2020 during the pandemic. They started releasing a few singles one by one and by the time they released the full album Tim & The Glory Boys already had four songs make the Top 10 Canadian Country Music Charts.
“It’s been a three and a half year journey of having the songs, recording them, and having them be available in its entirety to the public,” said Tim Neufeld.
Tim & The Glory Boys released a deluxe version of their debut album, which included some acoustic tracks. One of the songs they released an acoustic version of was a song they did with The Roadhammers, “Roll This Stone”.
To get into the holiday spirit, Tim & The Glory Boys recently released a cover of Mariah Carey’s iconic track “All I Want For Christmas.”
“I love Mariah and I love a good challenge and we are pleased with how it turned out,” said Tim.
Tim & The Glory Boys recently went on tour throughout Canada with the support of local Manitoba artist Quinton Blair.
“It was wonderful to tour again and Quinton was our favourite and we’re glad we could take him on the road wth us,” said Tim.
